The 4th of July is just around the corner! I love a good food-themed holiday, so I’ve gathered up some of my favorite recipes.

4th of July

Grain-Free Berry Crisp

The 4th of July is smack in the middle of berry season! Which is perfect because because strawberries and blueberries make some pretty patriotic (and gorgeous!) recipes!

Red, White and Blue Layered Smoothie

This smoothie is super refreshing, which makes it perfect for serving on July 4th or any other hot summer day. The layers look super impressive, but are actually really easy to make, because you know I’m all about simple recipes!

Vegan Gluten-Free Strawberry Shortcakes

I’m a total sucker for a good strawberry shortcake and it’s a safe bet I’ll be whipping this one up! These mini shortcakes are the best and you can incorporate some blueberries to make them even more “on-theme” if you want.

Grilled Veggie Skewers with Chimichurri Sauce

The 4th of July is the perfect time to break out the grill! And these grilled veggies skewers are the perfect way to kick off grilling season with your family and friends before going to watch fireworks. I make these all the time and they’re always a huge hit.

These tempeh skewers are one of my favorite appetizers to serve at a party. Plus, the Wild Blueberry BBQ sauce is just a touch patriotic and super simple to make.

Raspberry Sorbet

Sorbet is the best – especially this recipe because it only calls for 3 ingredients! For the 4th, you can even make two batches: one with raspberries and one with blueberries!

Creamy Vegan Potato Salad

This creamy potato salad is a great dish to bring to a 4th of July party or a BBQ. I’m a huge fan of the Dijon + dill flavor combo, so this recipe is a go-to for me. I promise, no one will even suspect that it’s 100% plant-based!

Easy Vegan Italian Pasta Salad

I don’t know about you, but pasta salad screams summer to me! It’s been a staple at every summer BBQ I’ve ever been to. I love this recipe because it’s 100% plant-based and it tastes exactly like that traditional pasta salad we all know and love.

Red, White, and Blue Patriotic Popsicles

These popsicles are super patriotic and perfect for celebrating the 4th of July with your loved ones. I love the Greek yogurt stars in the center too! They look a little complicated, but I promise they’re not. You’ll be sure to get tons of compliments if you serve them at your 4th of July party!
