It’s wonderful not feeling hungry all the time!
My wife and I had reached a point where our weight loss progress had become stagnant, despite our good exercise habits. We felt that as a couple we needed help in order to continue to make progress. We knew that eating the exact same thing everyday probably did not meet our individual needs, but we didn’t know what our exact needs really were.
We enjoyed how simple following your approach really was. Our plans were well laid out, and had a good amount of variety. We also really liked how flexible you were in terms scheduling meeting at our home – that made things very convenient.
We love that we have made progress in our goals. Helping us to regain forward momentum has been invaluable and we really like knowing that what we are eating is good for us. It’s great not having to feel like so much food is bad for us and it’s wonderful not feeling hungry all the time! So many things we’ve tried have left us starving most of the day. It’s much easier to stay on a plan that you don’t resent.
We also noticed that we eat out far less now and we are saving money. Going out to eat is more of a treat now and we don’t really miss it as much as we thought we would. We also don’t get tired in the middle of the day any more. This has made for much more productive days at work, which often nets more quality time at home. I’ve easily lost weight without depriving myself!
I’m in the process of switching my closet from summer to winter and I just wanted to tell you THANK YOU. I was dreading this chore and have been putting it off. I am pleasantly surprised at how well things are fitting. Clothes I couldn’t wear in July are now easily fitting and are just a bit loose. It’s not enough that I can actually go down a size in clothing, but the pant buttons are no longer straining and about to bust. I cannot tell you how happy this is making me. Although I’ve only lost 5 lbs. as of Sunday, I feel so much better. I kind of fell off the nutrition wagon for a few days, but seeing my clothes fit again is a HUGE incentive to keep going. A practical approach that helped the whole family eat and feel better!
I have multiple sclerosis so I’m always looking to put better food in my body. And, I had gotten in a rut of feeding my family and myself what seemed “healthy” but I knew we could improve. In January 2007 I found out that I had many food sensitivities, including wheat gluten, all cow’s milk products and eggs, just to mention a few. I feel and look fit, I’m fully satisfied, and I’m eating healthy!
I have always been into being active. I started off as a dancer and soon became interested in fitness not only as a hobby but also as a profession. Working out was never a problem, but eating was always a struggle. I didn’t know what my body needed, when to eat, or how many calories to have, or what I needed to have more energy throughout my day. As I started personal training others, I knew I not only needed to give advice to my clients but I needed to gain control over my own problems with food. I’m super busy and I run around a lot and needed help getting a food plan that gave me energy and stamina as well as kept me fit. When I decided to hire a nutritionist I looked online and out of all that came up, Danielle’s website seemed the most professional and appealing.

Danielle understands my struggles with food
I have a condition called Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and I felt lost and confused when I would read information on diets, what not to eat, when to eat it, how to eat it. I knew that I needed a one on one approach in order to be successful with weight loss and learning more about my body. I would often “beat myself up” over eating bread, pasta or carbs and I would let it ruin my day and in some cases I would just spiral out of control with my eating for the rest of the day. I would let the fact that I had spaghetti for lunch, upset me and then I would have 2 pieces of cake for dessert. I would give up. I liked the fact that Danielle would listen to me and my struggles with food or control with food. She recognized my weakness and better yet recognized what I needed to hear to be successful with change. I loved how Danielle was always available for me. She always responds to my calls or emails and gives me the advice that I need…..RIGHT THEN!
Working with Danielle has impacted my life in every way. I feel confident when I am grocery shopping because I know what I am looking for in my food. I know how to read labels and not focus too much on calories, but to also look at fiber, protein and carbs. It makes grocery shopping a lot more fun and easy. Cooking feels amazing because I know it is healthy. I have no reason to beat myself up, because I know what I am eating. When I go out to eat, I know how to make smart choices now.
It really helps to have someone who understands your struggles with food; someone that will listen and not pass judgment. That was the key to my success with Danielle. In the last 5 months, I have lost 17lbs and am only 15lbs away from my goal weight. Could I have done this on my own? Sure. But I know that with the knowledge and education I have gotten about food, I will not gain any of my weight back.

The Team That Got Me Results!
After a torn PCL and a fractured foot, I had lost strength and put on weight. After healing, I was excited to drop the weight I had put on, and increase my strength and flexibility. After 3 months of training hard I still could not drop the 15 pounds I had gained. I was so happy to find Danielle online; she worked with my food allergies, my crazy schedule, and my exercise regimen to develop a personal plan for me.
Danielle also recommended her personal trainer, Keri Roberts. Keri met with me to determine my ability level. Later she sent me a personalized exercise plan to help build strength for my injuries, and improve my balance and flexibility.
Both Danielle and Keri have helped me tremendously and have been so supportive. I send them weekly updates, both positive and negative, and they are always cheering me on or giving me advice.
I am proud to say that in 1.5 months I have dropped 7 pounds and have gone from a size 10 back to a size 6. I am energized, eating more, and motivated to lose the last 8 pounds and drop one more pant size. As for the additional workouts, I find that the strength training has improved my sports training! I am so ecstatic, and loving what I have learned from Keri and Danielle!

I started to put on weight after having a hysterectomy in my early 40’s (despite exercising a lot). Danielle’s easy-going nature and friendly style (and smile) made me feel so comfortable.
